Yes. The hike reaches 3,800 meters above sea level. We recommend staying in Cusco for at least 2 days before the excursion, to give your body time to acclimatize and avoid altitude sickness.
This is a moderate-level hike, accessible to most people in generally good physical condition. Please let us know of any medical conditions or physical restrictions when booking, so we can adapt the experience if needed.
Yes. The pachamanca includes meats and vegetables by default, but if you are vegetarian or have any food allergies, please let us know when booking so we can prepare a special option.
Bottled mineral water is included in the excursion, but we are a family project committed to the community's environment — we kindly ask you to also bring your own reusable water bottle and respect the natural surroundings throughout the trip.
Comfortable hiking shoes, a cap or sun hat, sunglasses, sunscreen (biodegradable preferred), rain gear, a small daypack, cash, and your ID card (a copy is accepted).
They are not included by default, but are available if requested in advance when booking.
